We commissioned Francis Cox, owner of Raw35 to undertake a 5 week programme of photography, taking influence from Simon Bartram’s exhibition ‘Under the Vapour Trails’. The programme included a visit to the exhibition, a street photography workshop, 2x location shoots at Hartlepool United Football ground, a studio photography workshop and a group photography critique.
The workshops were attended by a balanced a range of ages and backgrounds who are keen amateurs enjoying all styles of photography.
The aim was to capture the supporters of Hartlepool United Football Club and try to express the importance of local football in the community.
After the shoot the participants’ reviewed their images and tried some editing, then they met at the RAW35 studio to review each other’s images and critique the work. We selected our Top ten images although there was a lot more great shots.
