Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre and the Borough Hall to temporarily close

Update: We anticipate that neither building / venue will reopen before the 30th June.

 Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre and the Borough Hall are to close temporarily with immediate effect. This follows an initial assessment of the condition of the plaster ceilings at the venues which have identified a number of issues that require more detailed investigation.

For those planning to get married at the Borough Hall in the comings, specialist investigations have already taken place of the wedding ceremony venue and these ceremonies are still able to proceed as scheduled.

Cancelled shows:

For customers who have booked tickets online via the Creative Hartlepool website, refunds will be made automatically and may take up to two weeks.

For customer who booked at Art Gallery Box Office or over the phone, a member of our team will be in touch in due course to process your refund.

For customers who have booked tickets online via the Creative Hartlepool Box Office, refunds will be made automatically and may take up to two weeks. For postponed shows, the Creative Hartlepool team will contact customers directly by email. For general customer queries, please email townhall.theatre@hartlepool.gov.uk rather than contacting the Box Office.

Where customers have purchased tickets directly from an event or performance organiser and not via the Box Office, customers are advised to get in touch with the appropriate organisation to arrange refunds directly
